Tired of being stuck in your own head?

If anxiety, overthinking, relationships, or life changes are taking up more space than you'd like, therapy can help. Together, we'll make sense of what's keeping you stuck and find practical ways forward.

ABOUT ELLA

I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation. I’m warm, engaged, and practical, and I’ll offer honest feedback while helping you understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with strength-based and solution-focused strategies, but there’s no one-size-fits-all formula—we’ll figure out what works for you. I also believe there’s room for humor in therapy, and when it’s helpful, I’ll give you concrete strategies or “homework” to try between sessions. You’re the expert on your life; my job is to help you make sense of it, recognize your strengths, and create meaningful change.

I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and have over 15 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, relationships, life transitions, and the challenges that come with change. I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) providing virtual therapy to clients throughout Massachusetts.

WHY VIRTUAL THERAPY?

PROVEN TO BE JUST AS EFFECTIVE AS IN-PERSON

Research shows that virtual psychotherapy provides the same benefits as in-person meetings. You may also feel more comfortable sharing with your therapist. It can feel less intimidating to discuss personal matters when not directly face-to-face, and in your preferred setting with personal comfort items or family/friends nearby.

MORE LIKELY TO GET THE SUPPORT YOU NEED

Without the stress and time of commuting, virtual psychotherapy is much more convenient and accessible. Schedule your appointment before/after work, during your lunch hour, or in the evenings when you can relax with a cup of tea and your favorite blanket. Less missed appointments mean more time to focus on you.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Don't worry about running into someone you know in the waiting room. I use a confidential and secure video platform that you can log into from your computer, phone, or ipad. All you need is internet and a device.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO YOU OFFER EVENING AND WEEKEND AVAILABILITY?

Yes! We will work together to find a day and time that fits your schedule. Currently, I have availability between 5:30-9:30pm both weekdays and weekends, along with mornings between 10am-12pm.

WHAT IS YOUR RATE? DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

My rate is $150 per session. I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna (most plans). I will also provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance companies if you have out-of-network benefits. Paying is seamless, secure, and virtual.

HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION TAKE? HOW OFTEN WOULD WE MEET?

Sessions are typically between 45-60 minutes. I usually recommend we begin our work with weekly appointments, and then depending on progress, taper off to every other week. Some clients prefer to begin with every other week due to their schedules.

"Ella is highly positive, encouraging, and supportive. She was easy to open up to, which I have struggled with immensely with other providers. She makes sure you feel listened to and is extremely understanding. It is obvious she genuinely cares about her clients and wants them to succeed. She has helped me get back to a better place in life when it did not feel possible. I cannot recommend Ella enough!"
